Excerpts from the press release:

Spatial intervention:
Ditte Knus Tønnesen and
Amalie Bønnelycke Lunøe

For Kunstvlaai GREEN IS GOLD invited two artists: Ditte Knus Tønnesen and Amalie Bønnelycke Lunøe. They focus on the vertical exhibition space by introducing a beehive to Amstelpark, therewith allowing bees to fill the air. On another site in Amstelpark GREEN IS GOLD exhibits a 1-1 scale model of a beehive cast in cement. The two objects start a conflicted conversation in relation to each other: discussing matters of materiality, habitat, society and environmental concerns.
